Ceratizit MaxiMill cutter stays cool while machining slots, grooves and performing parting off

Ceratizit has introduced that MaxiMill slot milling cutter system with through coolant up to 250 mm in diameter.

This cutter can be used to machine slots and grooves and perform parting off processes. The internal coolant holes on the MaxiMill – Slot-SX ensure optimal chip control during slot milling, according to the company.

The series is based on existing grooving inserts from the SX system and therefore covers a wide range of possibilities for ISO P/M/K/N/S. With its wide range of tool carriers, MaxiMill – Slot-SX offers the choice between the most common DIN connections, by thread or via a shell mill adapter.
